El-Eman Group’s journey began with the establishment of Al-Shorouk Food Industries, which included a flour mill and a pasta production factory. At the time, our operations were limited to sourcing the necessary raw materials separately for both the mill and the pasta line to ensure stable production.

As demand grew and the need for stable, cost-efficient supply chains became critical, we founded Al-Eman Import & Export, with the primary goal of importing wheat to meet the internal needs of our industrial facilities.

Over time, and with a strong commitment to market development, Al-Eman evolved from a self-supply entity to a large-scale importer and distributor of wheat for mills and wholesale traders across Egypt.

As our import volumes expanded significantly, we took strategic steps to enhance our infrastructure and operational capacity:

• We leased large-scale storage facilities in cooperation with governmental entities to manage the flow of imported goods.
• We built a privately owned transport fleet, which gave us full control over delivery schedules and logistics efficiency.

In response to major global disruptions—particularly the outbreak of war between Russia and Ukraine, which created severe challenges in international payments and commodity flow—we expanded our operations globally by establishing
ELEMAN FOOD TRADING CO. L.L.C in Dubai, UAE.

This company acts as our international sourcing and financial hub, facilitating payments abroad and supplying both Al-Eman and other Egyptian importers. It plays a crucial role in navigating foreign transactions and ensuring supply chain continuity during international instability.

As our import volumes continued to rise, and the number of vessels we were receiving increased, we took further strategic measures:

• We initiated the construction of our own storage complexes, which will be fully operational by June 2025.
• We acquired a maritime agency under the name “Arab brother”, which now serves our vessels and offers services to other companies, providing significant savings and operational control.
• We also purchased a full range of loading and unloading equipment, enabling us to carry out our port operations independently and lease the equipment to third parties for additional revenue.

As of 2025, El-Eman Group has established itself as one of Egypt’s largest grain importers.
In the first three months of the year alone, we successfully imported over 500,000 metric tons of wheat, and our target for the full year is to exceed 2 million tons.

We are not limited to wheat alone. Currently, our active import portfolio includes:

• Wheat
• Corn
• Soybeans
• Soybean Meal
• Sunflower Meal
• Barley

These commodities are imported in large volumes and distributed to partners across various sectors within Egypt’s food and feed industry.
